Great week with Fred and Marilyn...Got to celebrate my 65th!!

It was great celebrating my birthday with our best friends, Marilyn and Fred.  The week went by too quickly!!!  We will miss them!!!

We drove yesterday to Ft Lauderdale stayed at the Cambria Suites .  We had dinner at Peppermill Restaurant in Sunny Isles where Angelo works.  I have known Angelo Reinoso from Breezes Varadero about 19 years.  He is a special person and friend.  When we knew he moved to Miami and we decided to surprise him.  What a surprise!!!  Lots of hugs and kisses going around!!!   Had a great meal and a great time!!!

Stopped by on our way home to visit with Gail and Clay Tucker.  Love the area and thanks to Gail and Clay we had an excellent lunch. Great visit!!

Had an awesome visit from Dallas, Gretchen and Ben.  They did spend 3 nights at Disney.  Ben is getting so tall not a little boy anymore .

Enjoying Florida, Jan 2015

We are only 15 mins from LEGOLAND and at the Walmart in Winter Haven about 5 mins away in the jewellery dept they have this full size figurine of Woody all done out of Lego.....Amazing.  This is for my grandsons, Xavier, Ben and also for Judd Hanley who love Lego....

It has been a great January.  We are enjoying the weather, it has been a lot cooler but no complaints.  Our sweetest neighbors, Beryl and Charles left to go back to England.  Such a small world, found out they lived 5 minutes from where my Mum grew up.  Wow!!  Their daughter, Helen and son-in-law, Nick own the park.

 

 Having a great time and have met a few friends.   We meet for Happy Hour almost every day around 3:30pm.  Okay, most of the time alcohol free, Hahaha!!  There is 4 couples, 1 from Ontario(Bob and Joan), 1 from Ohio(Joe and Jan) and 1 from Kansas ,(Willard and Roberta).

Joan and I enjoying the company!!!  Gotta love it!!  Today we got together and went for Dinner at JB's restaurant....Their special was catfish and prime roast....Awesome dinner with great company and very reasonable pricing!!!

We had a beautiful New Year's Eve.  Enjoyed the music at the park, Willie , one of the residents here entertained us.  He is an amazing singer and looks like Willie Nelson.   Great evening, we had Champagne, stuffed Scallop shells, smoked salmon and carrot cake for dessert!!!  A great time!!!
