St Simons Island GA

Beautful sunny day(17C) for our trip to St Simons Island.  We had a great day.  What beautiful scenery!!!   We walked along the wharf and took picture of their lighthouse (Pic 2) and see the  so called cottages along the shore(Pic 3) Hahaha!!!  More like Mansions!!!  Stopped at Iguanas Seafood Restaurant(pic 1) for their lunch Special(shrimp, hush puppies, coleslaw and 1 side)...I had blackened shrimp with steamed broccoli and Gary had fried shrimp with French fries.....so delicious!!! We drove thru the Avenue of Oaks.  Most of them are 400 yrs old(Pic 4) so beautiful!!!  Stopped by the Christ Episcopal Church (one of the 5 oldest churches in US)(Pic 5).  Took a picture of the old gravestone from 1900...Born on Feb 18 and died on Sept 15....(Pic 7).  Also in front of the church took a picture of the live Holly tree(Pic 6).   Also got a pic of the bridge see how steep(pic 8)....Wow!
