Tully Sugar Works, Folkston, Brunswick, Jekyll Island

It was such a beautiful sunny day (17C) we decided to go for a drive.  Took Hwy 40 to Folkston and on to Brunswick GA passing by Waycross and Nahunta.   Stopped at the tourist office before Jekyll Island.  This will be a return trip this week as it is an all day exploration.   Beautiful trip today.

These pictures are from the Tully Sugar Works not far from our motorhome.  This was built in 1625 to process the sugar cane.  Can't believe it is still standing.  It was made from seashells and mortar.  Unbelievable!!
